This Sydney based licensee is growing and offers a long-term opportunity to an associate who wants to learn and build a book along the way. One of the most nimble, innovative and agile licensees around, all decisions are made where the client’s best interests are front and centre. They are passionate about building a strong community of advisers and are currently on a strong growth trajectory. This is an opportunity for you to take on a client book in your own right and eventually, run your own business, if that's the right path for you.

The Role

• Responsible for assisting one of the Senior Advisers with the proactive management of their client’s affairs. This includes ongoing client maintenance, preparing for annual progress meeting’s and managing/preparing any compliance obligations and reviews
• Responsible for developing and managing internal relationships with key support people in the office and at the licensee level together with key external service providers to create a seamless experience for the client
• In conjunction with the paraplanning team formulate and review Statements of Advice (SOA) documents across a wide range of financial strategies
• Be passionate about advice and the management and engagement of clients as there is the opportunity in time, for this client book to transition in it's entirety to the right adviser

About you:

• Degree qualified, you will meet all the current education requirements and be committed to ongoing learning and training on the job
• You will need to have completed your PY
• Experience within a paraplanning, client service or other associate role preferred so that you can hit the ground running
• Have a solid understanding of tax, superannuation including SMSF's, retirement income streams, investments and financial products
• Be genuinely passionate and interested in one day becoming a financial planner
• Enjoy working as part of a team with the ability to use initiative and judgement in problem solving situations
• Have a proactive attitude towards career development
