They work with their clients across all areas of wealth, and they are now seeking an Associate Adviser to work with the Lead Adviser to deliver high-quality advice to a broad range of clients. Actively growing, there are opportunities here for those who are keen to progress their career over the longer term.

The Opportunity

This opening is for a Senior Associate or Associate who will be assisting a Senior Financial Adviser and dealing with the advice strategy and working with the clients directly. There will be lots of interaction with the Implementation Team also. Experience is required in a similar role and a passion for excellent client experience is ideal. This varied and exciting opening is suited to someone hoping to learn from an experienced adviser in a well-established practice. This is a full-time permanent role, expected to work from the office, for the 1st 6 months.

The Role

• Work closely with the advisers, in particular the Lead Adviser in the development of strategies
• Liaise with the implementation team to ensure all aspects of the plan are implemented according to the SoA
• Act as the main point of contact for the client for queries or instructions on their portfolios
• Assist in the advice preparation, research and modelling using Xplan
• Ensure that advice complies with regulation and compliance and that file notes are uploaded immediately after meetings
• Participate in the annual review meetings to assess and update client strategies
• Proactively manage the client review process including updating client information and recommending strategy adjustments

The Candidate

• Proficient in financial planning software like XPLAN and Fin365
• Excellent communication skills to build relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Knowledge of the financial planning industry, compliance, legislation and ethical standards
• Strong analytical skills to be able to develop complex financial planning strategies
• An interest in completing the PY but not necessarily immediately
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where services are delivered in a timely fashion
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in your work is paramount
