Associate Adviser – Financial Planning | Adelaide CBD | Hybrid Work Flexibility
A well-established independent financial services firm with a strong presence across Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane is seeking an experienced Associate Adviser. This role provides the opportunity to support Senior Advisers in delivering high-quality, client-focused financial advice, while also gaining valuable exposure to client meetings and strategy development.

Ideally, you will be proficient in using Xplan, Xtools, Risk Researcher and Wealth Solver and platforms such as HUB2 and Netwealth. The role will involve working with managed funds, portfolios, MDAs and shares and strong technical knowledge for working with pre-retiree and retiree clients is essential.

As an Associate Adviser, you will collaborate with Senior Advisers to prepare and implement tailored financial strategies, attend client meetings, assist with fact-finding and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately. You will also help with investment modelling, insurance needs analysis and SoA’s preparation, all while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Senior Advisers to create and implement personalised financial strategies

Attend client meetings, manage fact-finding and ensure documentation is accurate

Contribute to investment modelling, insurance needs analysis and the preparation of SoA’s

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing clear and timely communication

About You:

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a paraplanning or associate adviser role

Strong technical knowledge of financial advice, with proficiency in XPlan or similar software

Excellent communication, problem-solving and analytical skills

FASEA-approved tertiary qualification or a willingness to complete relevant qualifications

Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
