Our client is a leading financial advisory firm with offices nationally. They are looking for an experienced Paraplanner or Associate Adviser who is eager to develop their advisory skills and support a busy team of Advisers in delivering high-quality advice to their clients.

As an Associate Adviser, you will work closely with the Advisers to prepare and implement advice, ensuring that all recommendations are in the best interests of their clients and meet the highest standards of compliance and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work alongside Advisers to provide timely and compliant technical advice to clients
• Assist Advisers in preparing and implementing advice, including strategy development, investment modelling, and insurance needs analysis
• Ensure all assigned tasks are completed fully, correctly, and in accordance with the nominated time frame and compliance requirements
• Attend client meetings alongside Advisers
• Maintain a deep understanding of the fundamentals of financial planning and stay up-to-date with industry developments
• Collaborate with other members of the advisory support team to ensure the efficient and effective facilitation of the client journey

Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of Financial Planning industry experience with relevant industry qualifications
• Strong technical knowledge of financial planning, investment strategies and retirement planning
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex strategies clearly
• Familiarity with Xplan or similar software
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent eye for detail and a proactive approach
