About the role

Bache Bros Produce Centre is seeking a talented and driven Customer Service and Sales Representative to join our team in SA. In this position you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and connecting with our Supermarket and Hospitality customers regarding our range of seasonal products and services. This is a full-time position that offers excellent opportunities for career advancement within our dynamic organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Prospecting and generating new leads through cold-calling, networking, and other sales activities
• Conducting effective merchandising displays that promote sales along with product sampling to potential and current customers
• Negotiating and closing sales deals while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
• Maintaining detailed records of sales activities and pipeline
• Collaborating with the marketing team to develop and implement sales strategies
• Providing valuable feedback to the product team to enhance our offerings
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and market changes
• Will require quarterly rural travel
• Administrative Support: Including data entry and general office tasks.

• Proven track record of success in a customer service and sales role, preferably in the fruit and vegetable industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers
• Strong negotiation and closing skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in using sales-related software and technology
• Adaptable and willing to learn new skills to stay competitive in the market
