Are you a strategic leader passionate about supporting community organisations?

CHNS supports 72 Neighbourhood Houses and Community Centres across South East Melbourne and the Bayside Peninsula. We’re seeking a collaborative, forward-thinking Network Manager to lead the implementation of our Strategic Plan, strengthen sector advocacy, and provide governance and compliance guidance to our member Houses.

Your role will include:

Providing strategic leadership across the CHNS region

Supporting member Houses with governance, compliance, and sustainability

Advocating for the Neighbourhood House sector with government and partners

Guiding the Network Coordinator and Finance Officer to align with strategic goals

Overseeing strategic planning, funding submissions, and reporting

Building partnerships to enhance capacity-building across the network

About you:

Experienced leader in the community or Neighbourhood House sector

Strong understanding of governance, strategic planning, and advocacy

Skilled in stakeholder engagement and sector collaboration

Confident overseeing project planning and compliance at a regional level

Essential requirements:

Tertiary qualifications in Community Development or related field, or significant experience managing Community Centres or Neighbourhood Houses

Current Police Check and Working with Children Check

Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle

Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid working rights
