As our Assistant Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of a wide range of impactful developments within the subdivision and property sectors. What You'll Be Doing:

1. Supporting the development management team across a diverse portfolio of projects, including residential subdivisions, residential and commercial buildings, industrial complexes, tourism ventures, childcare facilities, retirement villages, indigenous community projects, and group/boarding homes.
2. Taking ownership of the preparation of council and other authority applications, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and efficient processing.
3. Coordinating tender processes, from initial documentation to contractor selection, contributing to cost-effective and high-quality project delivery.
4. Maintaining exceptional communication and fostering strong relationships with internal teams, external consultants, and stakeholders.
5. Demonstrating a consistently functional and professional approach in all interactions and tasks.
6. Contributing to DJL's commitment to excellence and our drive to achieve the best possible outcomes within the NSW planning framework.
7. Having the opportunity to contribute to and be involved in several meaningful charitable initiatives across NSW.
8. Being willing and able to travel to and work from our Thirlmere office.

What You'll Bring:

1. A proactive, energetic, and positive attitude with a strong sense of initiative.
2. Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
3. Formal qualifications such as a relevant degree or equivalent training. A Civil Engineering degree is highly preferred.
4. Experience in the preparation of council development applications and the coordination of tenders.
5. Outstanding professional people skills and a polite and respectful nature.
6. A commitment to maintaining a functional and professional demeanour.
