About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Project Manager to join the dynamic team at ACE Property Development Group (ACE PDG). As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of complex projects in and around the Sydney metro area and the Central Coast. This full-time position offers the chance to further develop your project management skills within a supportive and collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing

Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and monitoring all aspects of our current and future projects

Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and timely project delivery

Contribute to the development and implementation of project schedules, budgets, and quality control measures

Assist the Project Manager and Contracts Administrator in reviewing and analyising project documentation

Provide administrative support, including the maintenance of project records and the preparation of reports

Participate in regular site inspections

Identify and resolve issues that may arise

Communicate ideas for improving processes

Assist in office maintenance

What we're looking for

Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field

1-2 years of experience in a similar Assistant Project Manager or Project Coordinator role, preferably within the construction industry

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Proficient in the use of project management software, such as Microsoft Project, and other relevant computer applications

Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations

Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities
