About the role

Reporting directly to the CEO, this full-time Chief Financial Officer role is an exciting opportunity to play a key strategic leadership role within a well respected, fast growing family organization. Based near Allora QLD 4362, this position will oversee all financial operations and drive the company's long-term financial strategy and success.

What you'll be doing

Providing strategic financial leadership and guidance to the executive team

Overseeing all financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management

Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards, BAS, taxation and legal requirements

Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls

Analyzing financial data to inform business decisions and drive growth

Managing the finance team and mentoring staff

What we're looking for

Qualified accountant with experience in a senior finance or CFO role

Broad knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements

Expertise in financial management, reporting, and strategic planning

Strong commercial acumen to actively assist business growth and strategy

Work effectively with a range of personalities within a team environment

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Experience in leading and developing high-performing finance team
