We are working with a private equity asset in search of an Interim Chief Financial Officer for a 6-month contract.

This role will be based in Sydney with some interstate travel required.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of financial strategies to support business and growth objectives.
• Involvement in the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and analysis.
• Manage financial reporting to ensure compliance with the applicable regulations and standards.
• Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO, Executive Team and Private Equity firm stakeholders based on financial analysis and projections.
• Assess and manage risk, ensuring appropriate internal controls and compliance systems are in place.
• Lead and mentor the finance team and build a team necessary to support the business growth through hiring and learning and development.
• Lead the transfer pricing for the organisation by developing and executing to align with business objectives.
• Develop the financial analysis capabilities by developing the necessary dashboards.

Career Experience

• Proven Chief Financial Officer in a corporate environment.
• Prior experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Previous experience in a private equity portfolio business is highly desirable.

Essential Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
• Proactive individual who takes their own initiative.
• Excellent internal and external communication and relationship building skills.
