Fitter - FMCG Manufacturing/Production - Up to $51

Location: Morwell

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems and equipment within the production facility.

Install and assemble mechanical components and machinery to support production operations.

Diagnose faults and perform corrective actions promptly to minimize downtime.

Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance in accordance with the maintenance plan.

Ensure all machinery and equipment are maintained in line with health and safety standards.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and parts usage.

Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Fitter in a manufacturing and FMCG environment.

Relevant technical certification or trade qualification (e.g., Mechanical Fitter Certificate or equivalent).

Strong understanding of mechanical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.

Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
