The Opportunity: Mechanical Fitter - Shepparton Site

Join our Shepparton team and play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and efficient operation. As a specialist in your field, you will proactively manage the mechanical maintenance of the site, ensuring smooth production by minimizing downtime and performance issues. Your expertise will contribute to the training and development of our site reliability and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively conduct mechanical maintenance, including root cause analysis, fault finding, and diagnostics.
• Quickly and safely resolve stoppages, breakdowns, and performance issues.
• Perform routine checks, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
• Provide detailed parts lists or BOM for issue elimination and follow-up work.
• Review and manage inventory requirements to maintain operational efficiency.

What You’ll Bring:

• Mechanical Fitter certification, ideally within an FMCG environment or similar.
• Certificate III in Engineering or Mechanical Trade.
• Ability to read and interpret OEM manuals, plans, and P&IDs for equipment servicing.
• Specialized skills in one or more equipment types: UHTs, homogenizers, separators, heat exchangers, UHT filling/packing systems, pumps, and valves.
