About the role

Are you currently seeking a permanent full-time role on Afternoon Shift, we currently have several roles on Afternoon shifts for experienced Maintenance Fitters from the Food/Pharmaceutical or Packaging industries. These roles are based across the East and South East Suburbs and are available on a permanent full-time basis.

What you'll be doing

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of FMCG production equipment

Diagnose and troubleshoot faults

Liaise with production teams to understand operational requirements and minimise disruptions

Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance processes and procedures

Ensure a safe working environment and comply with all health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

Qualified Fitter, with 3+ years' experience in a similar maintenance role, must have a strong food manufacturing industry background

A Certificate III or Certificate IV in Mechanical Fitting is essential

Experience in MEX, raising work orders

Strong mechanical, troubleshooting skills

Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding abilities

Good communication skills to liaise effectively with production and maintenance

Flexible and adaptable to work in a 24/7 manufacturing environment
