Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our leadership management team in our Perth – WA operation.

As Operations Manager in our team, you will play a pivotal role in scaling a sustainable operation and developed procurement and supply chain. This includes managing and optimising the conversion, fitting and customisation processes, the sale operations while maintaining great product quality, and strong relationships externally and internally. The role requires a practical and strategic thinker with strong supplier and people management skills. Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including product procurement, delivery and sales.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Providing day-to-day direction and management including maintenance personnel and ensure labour and resources are used most effectively

Develop and implement operational strategies to optimise productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall operational efficiency

Manage international and local suppliers to ensure all aspects of products procurement and processes meet the required standards

Develop new suppliers and customers internationally and locally, involving travel and representing the business

Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, stakeholders to ensure progress and goals are met

Gather and analyse operational data to identify trends and provide insights for informed decision-making

Implement and maintain best practices in the workshop and office environment for health and safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance

Develop and mentor team members, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and professional growth

Skills & Experience:

Relevant qualification in operations management, business administration or related fields

Proven business development and operations management experience or similar managerial roles

Additional technical knowledge in customisation vehicles and adventure tourism are highly preferable.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills for effective cross-functional collaboration

Strong leadership with the ability to develop and motivate high-performing teams

Results-driven, sharp attention to detail, decisive, and highly skilled in problem-solving

Ability to drive continuous improvement and implement new operational processes with efficiency
