About the role

Are you an experienced Property Manager looking to take the next step in your career.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Explore Property Whitsunday team as a Senior Property Manager

As a senior member of the property management team, you will be responsible for overseeing a small portfolio of residential properties and delivering exceptional service to both landlords and tenants.

You will also be responsible for strategic planning and team management. This is a full-time position based in Cannonvale, Queensland.

What you'll be doing

Manage a portfolio of residential rental properties, including leasing, property inspections, tenant management and maintenance coordination

Provide expert advice to landlords on all aspects of property management, including legislation, market conditions and maximising rental returns

Proactively identify and implement strategies to improve property occupancy rates and minimise vacancy periods

Effectively communicate with landlords, tenants and contractors to ensure a high level of customer service

Ensure all properties are maintained to a high standard and comply with relevant legislation and regulations

Assist with the training and development of more junior property management staff

Contribute to the overall growth and success of the Explore Property Whitsunday business

What we're looking for

Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a senior property management role, ideally within the residential leasing and property management industry

Strong working knowledge of residential tenancy legislation and regulations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with landlords, tenants and contractors

Proven track record in managing a diverse portfolio of properties and maximising rental returns for landlords

Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Proficient in using property management software and Microsoft Office suite
