Food & Beverage Full Time Staff Member

The opportunity exists for an enthusiastic team player to join our committed service team. Settlers Run Golf and Country Club operates a bar and kitchen 6 days a week, with busy a la carte and function trade. With many functions and events held on Friday & Saturday nights, you will be expected to supervise some of these functions.

The successful candidate will require knowledge of all bar and service operations, stock control, routine service deliveries and staff supervision. The position is 'hands-on' and requires a strong work ethic, friendly approach & positive attitude.

A la carte service & function experience is necessary along with a supervisory background to assist with overseeing the day to day operations.

Other requirements include:

A current RSA certificate

Sound knowledge of functions, bar and restaurant operations

Communication & problem-solving skills

Attention to detail & customer focused

Availability & flexible approach to working hours to meet business demands

At least 1 year experience in a restaurant/bar environment

Golf club or similar experience in private clubs would be advantageous, although not essential.

Being a leisure venue, weekend and night work will be required and your own transport is essential.
