We are looking for an experienced and driven person to join our team at Terrae, an award winning, fast paced restaurant located in the heart of Bendigo.
The role will require the following: -
Oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth service, staff efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Support hiring and training of staff, fostering a professional and motivated team.
Assist in managing stock levels and relationships with suppliers, including beverage and wine supplies.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance, aligning with health regulations.
Contribute to the beverage list, helping to curate the wine list and support staff wine education as needed.

Terrae is a 60 seat restaurant offering modern, European inspired food showcasing local, regional and seasonal produce including what is grown locally at the restaurant's 25 acre property and kitchen gardens. Situated in the heart of Bendigo’s City of Gastronomy
What we offer
Full-time position available Thursday to Sunday

Ability to work under the leadership of a renowned Executive Chef – awarded consecutive Chef’s Hats–Good Food Guide at various restaurants across regional Victoria

Flexible shifts across a 4-5 day roster

Suitable candidates must have the following:
Proven experience in a busy restaurant, ideally in a supervisor or senior front-of-house role
A positive, can-do attitude with a strong passion for exceptional customer service
High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences
Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead, train, and motivate a team
Genuine interest in food, wine, and hospitality
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Bar and wine knowledge is an advantage; training will be provided for the right candidate
Flexible availability, including day and evening shifts on a rotating roster
A collaborative mindset and a willingness to grow within a supportive team culture
