They have a strong track record in Sydney's Northern Suburbs. With a long project pipeline, they are now expecting a Site Manager to join their dynamic and welcoming team.

About the role:

This new role has been created due to business expansion. As the Site Manager, you will be highly motivated and experienced in overseeing the daily operations of construction sites. You will play a key role in delivering our award-winning projects. Reporting directly to the Executive Team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality and productivity. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Main Responsibilities

General Duties

Ensure the delivery of the project in line with the construction program

Produce a weekly construction program for the line manager

Review supplier and subcontractor progress claims

Check subcontractor variations and cost changes

Manage the construction team and subcontractors, and report directly to the line manager

Oversee OH&S compliance and relevant safety standards to ensure a safe work environment

Manage OHS compliance across all sites and handle any industrial relations issues

Develop and implement quality control procedures (Inspection Test Plan – ITP system)

Identify and resolve construction-related issues on site

Inspect subcontractor works and materials to ensure compliance with tender and construction documents

Assist in preparing quantity reviews for head office tender work

Assist with all company projects as required

Daily/Weekly Duties

Update site photos daily in the Procore system

Plan and request material orders via the line manager or office CA

Conduct daily site OH&S checks

Approve invoices in the Procore system

Project program management performance

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Site Manager on high-end residential new build projects

Familiarity with the NCC, particularly Class 1 buildings

Strong understanding of construction methodology and procedures

Ability to liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery

High attention to detail and strong quality control focus

Demonstrated understanding of safety, health, and environmental best practices

Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
