The Travel Inn in Carlton is a four star boutique hotel currently seeking a Part time/Casual receptionist to join our enthusiastic Front Office team.

This position offers you the opportunity to work in a boutique hotel that promotes career growth and enhancement. This is an excellent opportunity to start your career in the hospitality industry or further enhance your skills within a hotel environment.

The successful applicant must be available to work weekends and public holidays on a 7 day rotating roster between the hours of 7:00am and 11:00PM.

In this role you will report directly to the Front Office Manager, tasks and responsibilities for this role will consist of but not limited to the following;

High attention to detail

Customer service focused

Ability to multi-task while maintaining a positive attitude when working with a Guest

Team focused and goal orientated personality

Excellent grooming and presentation skills

Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal

High level of computer literacy in Microsoft Office and experience using Protel Cloud an advantage, however onsite training will be provided.

Preferably but not necessary hotel experience in a Front Office environment

Current and valid drivers licence

Experience in hotel front office operations or similar roles is preferred. We encourage applicants who are currently studying or have recently graduated from hospitality institutions to apply, especially those seeking a long-term career in the rooms division of the hospitality industry.
