About the role

Join the dynamic team at our historic Moss Hotel as a Front Desk Hotel Receptionist in Hobart, TAS. This full-time position is the first point of contact for our hotel guests, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless check-in/check-out experience.

What you'll be doing

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner

Front desk operations, including check-in/check-out, handling guest inquiries, and processing payments

Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and transportation options

Coordinate with other hotel receptionists to ensure guest needs are met

Maintain a clean and organised front desk area

Comply with all hotel policies, procedures, and safety protocols

Assist with housekeeping when required

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a front desk role within the hospitality industry

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities

Proficient in using hotel management software and various office equipment

Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays

A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
