My client is a globally networked mid-tier firm that ranks among the AFR Top 10. The Australian arm of the firm consists of a combined total of 170+ Partners and over 1500 staff.

Their key service offerings include Audit, Assurance, Advisory, and Tax. As a business they service a wide variety of clients including SME’s, HNW family groups, and larger corporates/ASX listed entities.

They are now seeking an experienced Senior Accountant looking to take the next step in a Business Services role that will offer exposure to VCFO services. You will work with a range of high-profile private and business clients, including several listed entities.

Key duties of the role will include:

Preparation of financial statements, tax returns, BAS, FBT and payroll tax for a broad range of clients

Liaising with clients and building long-term relationships

Reviewing the work of and supporting the development of junior team members

Assisting with tax and accounting advice

The ideal candidate will possess:

CA/CPA qualification (or be working towards)

A minimum of 3 years experience in an established public practice firm - dealing with a diverse range of clients

Exposure to virtual CFO service offerings would also be advantageous although not essential

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

Strong problem solving and analytical skills
