An expanding modern accounting practice in Wagga, is seeking an Intermediate or Senior Accountant to join their Business Services and Tax team.

About the Opportunity:

This growing firm, is seeking an Intermediate or Senior Accountant to bolster their Business Services team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone with 2+ years of experience within an Australian accounting firm, coupled with CA/CPA qualifications or willing to complete.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with a diverse portfolio of clients
• Preparations of IAS & BAS
• Preparation of financial statements and tax returns, Div 7A, CGT and FBT Calculations
• Advisory services with client contact from the start (if senior)
• Liaison with the ATO
• Maintenance and preparation of clients financial records
• Excellent client relationship and rapport-building skills or wanting to learn

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in an Australian accounting firm.
• CA/CPA qualifications or willing to complete.
• Proven experience in an Australian accounting firm
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
