Project Manager – 12-Month Contract
$800 per day inclusive of super

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in the telecommunications industry to join a major technology transformation program. This role is focused on full end-to-end project delivery – not just IT product delivery – across field operations including onboarding, governance, and operational process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the delivery of capabilities that support strategic roadmaps and business objectives.
• Collaborate with senior and executive stakeholders to establish effective cross-functional processes.
• Drive program and project activities to meet success measures, manage risks, and deliver outcomes within defined timeframes and budgets.
• Engage with key strategic programs and negotiate outcomes under tight deadlines.
• Ensure alignment with governance frameworks and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in delivering large-scale projects in the telecommunications sector – this is essential.
• Background working with large service providers, utilities, or government clients.
• Recognised project management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMBOK, or equivalent).
• Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Trello, Miro, etc.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required.
• Hybrid work model with a minimum of 5 in-office days per fortnight, with flexibility to be based in any of the listed cities.
