HSE Coordinator - Road Upgrade Project

Fetch Recruitment are seeking a HSE Coordinator to join our client on a major $1b road upgrade project in Brisbane. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-profile infrastructure project while ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and implement HSEQ policies and procedures across the project site.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Provide guidance and training to staff on health, safety, and environmental best practices.
• Investigate and report incidents, ensuring lessons learned are integrated into future practices.
• Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks proactively.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in line with company and legislative requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience in a similar HSEQ role, preferably in road infrastructure projects.
• Tertiary qualification in Health, Safety, Environment, or a related field.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Australian HSEQ standards and legislation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and guide teams.
