We’re looking for a dedicated Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) team to lead the charge in safeguarding our people and our planet. We’re looking for a proactive, experienced HSE Coordinator to be part of this transformation. This is your chance to make a real impact, championing safety initiatives across our sites and embedding a culture where safety always comes first.

As a stand alone HSE Coordinator at our Bundamba site, you’ll be the driving force behind Refresco’s safety culture. Your leadership and experience will ensure compliance, drive innovation in risk management, and create a workplace where safety and sustainability thrive. You’ll:

- Be the first point of contact for safety and environmental protection at our Queensland facility

- Guide and support the design and roll-out of HSE systems across multiple locations.

- Guide teams through incident investigations and champion risk-reduction projects.

- Foster a positive, resilient safety culture through coaching and mentorship.

- Support innovative environmental projects.

- Ensure HSE compliance with national and local regulations.

- Oversee critical safety and environmental certifications.

- Coordinate robust HSE training programs.

- Manage return to work programs and workers compensation activity

- Manage reporting and dashboards to track safety and environmental performance.

Required

- Minimum-5 years of HSE experience, ideally in multi-site or manufacturing environments.

- Right to work in Australia

- Qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety or Environmental disciplines (Diploma or higher preferred).

- A passion for continuous improvement and a proactive approach to safety challenges.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders. You will be calm in a crisis and passionate about ensuring our teams return to their families safely.

- Proficiency in MS Office 365, including SharePoint and Excel.

- A current Australian driver’s license and good overall fitness.

- We will ask for a pre-employment health assessment as a condition of offer.
