Project Coordinator - Major Energy Projects
This position provides essential support to Program Directors and Project Managers and assist in the successful delivery of multiple, complex, and high-profile infrastructure/construction projects.

This is a permanent full-time position.

Your new role will:

  • Prepare/review project support deliverables for compliance with Horizon Power's Project Management Methodology (PMM).
  • Coordinate project meetings and workshops including scheduling, agenda preparation, meeting minutes, decisions, and action items during project meetings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and understanding of project objectives.
  • Assist in drafting business cases, change requests, board papers, briefs, communications, and other internal approvals as required.
  • Develop and maintain a data base of template documentation and best practice documentation for projects, including project budgets, schedule, plans, and project status reports.
  • Assist with project estimates and forecasting, provide cost control for the project
  • Assist in identifying, documenting, and tracking project risks and issues.
  • Assist in resource allocation and scheduling to ensure optimal utilisation of resources.

You will have:

  • Significant experience in a project support or project coordinator role on large scale, complex construction projects.
  • An understanding Project Management Methodologies on projects, developing, and finalising a variety of project documentation for projects in the development, delivery and closing stages.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise a range of projects and functions to achieve targets in a high workload environment.
  • Completed or working towards formal project management qualifications (e.g. Diploma of PM)
