Salary: $85,000

Your Role

As a Retail Manager, you will oversee the retail division of our automotive repair shop, ensuring seamless operations, profitability, and outstanding customer service. Key responsibilities include:

Retail Operations Leadership: Manage the sale of automotive parts, accessories, and service packages, driving sales targets and KPIs.

Inventory & Financial Control: Implement purchasing strategies, set competitive pricing, and manage budgets.

Team Development: Train, mentor, and supervise sales and customer service staff, fostering a high-performance culture.

Customer Experience: Resolve inquiries, promote services, and implement loyalty programs to enhance client retention.

Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to occupational health and safety regulations within the retail environment.

Marketing Initiatives: Develop and execute promotional campaigns to boost foot traffic and online engagement.

Perform at the standard required for and exercise the skills to fulfill the responsibilities of your potion;

Not engage in any bullying or harassing behaviour toward your colleagues, customers or any person in our workplace;

Directly interact with customers with good attitude and patience, Cooperate with mechanics, handling complaints, take bookings, quote jobs

Protect our property from theft, damage or neglect which may come to your attention.

Determining product mix, stock levels and service standards

Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions, undertaking budgeting for the establishment

Who We’re Looking For

Qualifications: AQF Diploma or higher in Business Management, Retail Management, or a related field (preferred).

Experience:

1+ years of retail management experience, preferably in automotive, parts sales, or related industries.

Proven track record in leading teams, exceeding sales targets, and managing budgets.

Skills:

Expertise in inventory systems (e.g., ERP software) and financial reporting.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Knowledge of automotive parts/services and customer needs in the repair industry.

Highly relevant employment tasks (e.g., stock control, staff supervision, compliance).

Submission of an organizational chart (or statutory declaration) outlining reporting structures.
