Relevant tertiary degree or IT certifications

Have an extensive understanding surrounding the operation of enterprise IT assets, including computers, servers, printers, networking equipment and ICT components.

Installing, configuring, and upgrading system software, server applications, and ICT hardware in line with educational requirements.

Monitoring system performance and ensuring network stability, reliability, and security across school facilities.

Knowledge of iOS device management applications such as Jamf

Knowledge of Microsoft device management system such as Intune

Managing user accounts, system access, and data backup procedures to ensure secure and consistent availability of services.

Providing service support for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.

Ensuring the implementation of robust disaster recovery plans and system security protocols, including endpoint security and firewall configurations.

Liaising with third-party vendors and service providers to manage ICT assets, software licensing, and service level agreements.

Documenting system configurations, network topologies, and operational procedures in alignment with IT policy and compliance standards.

Supporting school-wide digital learning platforms, including LMS tools, school portals, and communication systems.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
