We’re seeking a proactive and skilled Leading Hand or Foreman to oversee and manage projects from start to finish, playing a key role in delivering outstanding results within the construction industry.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and guiding a small team of 3-5 people.
• Working on the tools throughout large and small projections (hands on).
• Working and teaching apprentices whilst onsite.
• Manage onsite construction activities to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards of quality.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and work closely with site supervisor to ensure that construction plans are followed accurately.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any problems or obstacles that may arise during construction to ensure that projects stay on track.

What You’ll Need:

• Certificate 3 Trade and bonus with Certificate 4
• Reading Architectural & Engineer plans
• At least 2 years of experience in Residential Building as a qualified Carpenter
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, site supervisors, subcontractors and internal team.
• High attention to detail and ability to ensure the projects are completed to the highest standard of quality
• Familiar with construction safety
• Must have a full Drivers Licence
