Our close-knit, family-friendly (and dog-friendly!) team is growing. We’re looking for an experienced Site Manager, Leading Hand, or Carpenter to join our construction team.

About the Role:
You’ll be running or directly involved in managing residential building sites across various stages of construction in the Inner West and surrounding suburbs. You'll ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supervising trades and coordinating site activities

Ensuring construction meets NSW building codes, standards, and project specifications

Managing site safety, WHS compliance, and maintaining high housekeeping standards

Liaising directly with clients, architects, engineers, and consultants

Scheduling trades and material orders efficiently

Ensuring quality craftsmanship and attention to detail at every stage

Solving on-site problems proactively and effectively

This is a full-time position, with projects primarily located within easy reach of our Balmain head office.

About You:
You’ll thrive in this role if you’re reliable, hands-on, and committed to quality workmanship. You’ll be motivated by delivering outstanding residential projects and working closely with clients and our design team.

You’ll ideally have:

Proven experience as a Site Manager, Leading Hand, or qualified Carpenter in residential construction

Strong knowledge of NSW building standards, NCC/BCA, and local council requirements

Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications

Excellent communication skills to lead trades and liaise confidently with clients

NSW driver’s licence and own transport

Comfortable around office dogs!
