About the Role
We’re looking for a self-motivated, mature, and experienced Payroll & Contracts Officer to join our Sydney CBD team on a full-time basis. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you’ll be the go-to person for payroll processing, contract administration, and financial reporting — all while building strong relationships with clients and contractors.
What You'll Be Doing:
Managing contractor onboarding and full contract lifecycle
Maintaining positive, professional relationships with clients and contractors
Preparing Excel-based financial reports with precision and insight
Overseeing weekly margin reporting, accounts receivable, and salary packaging
Documenting and processing financial transactions accurately
Following up on outstanding receivables and ensuring smooth cashflow
Contract management and administrative support
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in payroll, accounting, or recruitment industry (agency or internal)
Knowledge of Excel and accounting software
Strong communication and relationship management skills
Attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously
Understanding of payroll, superannuation, and salary packaging
Ability to work to deadlines in a dynamic, professional environment
