We are seeking an experienced part time bookkeeper/payroll officer to join our small family owned and operated business.

This role offers flexible hours/days making it ideal for someone looking for supplementary work or a part-time role that provides a positive work-life balance.

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of Australian tax, BAS and superannuation.

Experience using MYOB accounting and POS systems and the Shopify platform will see you ahead of other applicants.

General duties will include:

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including invoicing, billing, payments and general ledger.

Full end-to-end payroll function, including monthly reconciliation of PAYG Withholding and Superannuation
requirements.

Assisting with on-boarding new staff and management of employment contracts, ensuring that superannuation, taxation, award rates and accruals are accurately maintained.

Weekly, monthly, and periodical financial and administrative reporting.

Bank account/credit card reconciliations.

Entering of accounts receivable and payable.

Assisting external accounts with end of year reporting.
