Are you a detail-oriented, reliable, and tech-savvy bookkeeper with a passion for accuracy and systems? We're a growing Australian home care provider looking for a capable Bookkeeper & Payroll Officer to manage our end-to-end financial administration — all from the comfort of your own home.

🔹 About the Role

This is a fully remote, flexible role ideal for someone experienced in home care or aged care financial administration. You’ll play a key part in keeping our business compliant, efficient and smooth-running, taking care of:

Full-cycle bookkeeping using Xero (or similar accounting software)

Payroll processing, STP compliance, and award interpretation (SCHADS Award knowledge desirable)

Submitting claims to Services Australia for Home Care Package funding

Managing reporting and communications via PRODA/GPMS portals

Preparing and sending invoices to clients and/or families

Managing and submitting all government reporting requirements

Supporting the team with ad-hoc finance/admin tasks related to compliance

🔹 About You

We’re looking for someone who:

Has bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably within aged care, NDIS, or home care sectors

Understands government funding systems including Services Australia, HCP, and PRODA

Is confident working independently and can manage their own time

Has strong attention to detail and high standards of accuracy

Can interpret regulations and ensure compliance with reporting obligations

Resides in Australia and has ABN (contractor role) or is open to employment arrangement
