APG Workforce is currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a NSW Government contract based at Clyde, supporting Sydney Trains Civil Planning Team.

Location: Clyde, NSW (Hybrid – 1 day in office)
Rate: $770.43 per day + Super
Dates: ASAP start | 40 hours per week | Ends mid-July (no extension)
Industry: Civil Engineering / Rail

This short-term role is perfect for someone with strong civil planning experience looking to contribute to critical rail infrastructure projects.

About the Role:

• Join a team of 7 engineers supporting managers in delivering the civil works program.
• Focus on planning, not delivery – working on upcoming projects scheduled for Sept to Dec (EOFY).
• You will be responsible for preparing scopes and work plans, which will be handed over to the delivery teams.
• 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, standard business hours.
• Hybrid arrangement – work from home majority of the time.
• Clyde office attendance required Thursdays (1x per week) – optional additional office attendance.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years civil engineering experience.
• Strong background in road and bridge maintenance, and culvert works.
• Rail or bridge experience desirable.
• Degree-qualified Engineer (or equivalent).
• Must have or be willing to obtain, RISI ticket, RIW card, White card
