About the Company

Our client is a prominent civil contracting business in South Australia that specializes in the construction of civil infrastructure for local governments, Department of Transport, mine sites, power plants, pipelines and marine projects. They have recently started a new $35m minesite civil project in South Australia, where they have an immediate need for a civil Site Engineer to join the team on contract basis through until February 2026.

About the Role

This twelve-month contract role as Site Engineer is a wonderful opportunity to get involved in a “live” industrial project through the construction delivery stages, and to showcase your technical civil engineering skills. The project itself will involve construction of concrete pads and foundations for a new paste fill plant, two kilometers of new road, intersection upgrade, drainage and storm water systems. As Site Engineer you will support the Project Manager and project team to facilitate the smooth running of the project. This will include undertaking site supervision, QA and preparing ITPs, pre-pour checks and testing, subcontractor management and cost tracking. This role will be offered on a FIFO 10/4 roster ex-Adelaide for the successful Site Engineer. On offer will be a tremendous day rate of CIRCA $750/Day + Super, and with flights, accommodation and meals all provided in a minesite camp environment.

Key Experience, Skills & Qualifications Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or similar
• 2-3 years post-graduate experience as Site Engineer for Civil Contractors on FRP/insitu concrete foundations/structures projects in Australia
• Successful employment tenures working for civil contractors as Site Engineer on industrial projects on FRP/concrete scopes of work such as minesites, process plants, power stations or similar
• Able and willing to work on 10/4 FIFO ex-Adelaide
• Strong all-round communication skills and high levels of motivation
• Clean Australian Driver’s License
• Provide two favorable references from within the last 5 years
• Complete a pre-employment medical and DAS testing.
