POSITION DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking a trained Early Childhood Educator holding a Diploma to join our well-established services across the Bundaberg region on a permanent part-time basis for up to 37.5 hours a week.

As an Early Childhood Educator, you are expected to be an active leader of a team that provides high-quality early childhood education and care to children. This includes:

Developing strong relationships with children at Acorn.

Developing strong relationships that support and partner with families.

Consistently implementing the policies and associated procedures of Acorn and

Working with other staff towards continuous improvement in all areas of Acorn.

EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA

Demonstrated understanding of:

National Quality Framework (NQF);

Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF);

Child Protection and Mandatory Reporting;

Workplace Health and Safety Issues and Practices

QUALIFICATIONS

An approved Diploma level qualification in Children's Services or actively working towards, as identified by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority

Child protection qualification

Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training

Paid Blue Card
