About Us:
The Avenues Group of Centres is family owned and operated. We have been providing quality care and education since 2003. Each centre in the group has its own unique character and offers services that reflect the local communities in which they are located.
Avenues Parkinson is a 200-place service educating children from 6 weeks to 6 years, across 10 rooms. Our service is very multicultural, with numerous nationalities represented in the educators and families who attend our service. This year Avenues Parkinson celebrates 11 years of service within the community. We are very fortunate to have foundation educators who will also be celebrating 11 years with us.
Avenues Parkinson requires Diploma Qualified educators to join the Parkinson family.The successful applicant/s will need to be able to adapt to change, be flexible, and learn each room routine, all while developing bonds with the children, families and educators of the service.
We believe in consistency of educators and do require educators that can work 5 days a week, filling different shifts between 6.30am to 6.30pm (7.5-hour shift), ideally the successful candidate/s will have a diploma and be able to work with any age group and work with many different personalities. This position will be Permanent Part Time (37.5 hours a week)
About you:
- Hold a minimum Diploma in ECEC.
- 2 years’ experience.
- Hold first aid and CPR.
- Hold a current blue card.
- Have a good understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Able to follow policies and procedures.
