The opportunity
The Vikings Group are looking for Duty Managers who are passionate about hospitality, leadership, and making a difference to the everyday experience of their peers and customers!
As a Duty Manager for the Vikings Group, you will be responsible for driving and motivating our Customer Service team while ensuring the smooth running of the venue alongside the Venue and Operations Managers. Reporting to the Venue Manager you will take charge in ensuring customer service excellence, employee engagement and development, and smooth operation of the club. This is a busy and hands-on position that requires an individual who will lead by example and thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
Your responsibilities
Manage the smooth day-to-day operation of the venue, ensuring organisational objectives are achieved, and the Vikings values, culture and service standards are upheld
Ensure compliance requirements under the relevant Statutory Acts and Regulations are followed at all times
Coordinate staff requirements and build team capability through recruitment, training, leading and development
Assist in reporting and control activities in line with company standards including gaming reconciliations, operational reports, stock control, banking procedures and payroll
Build strong and collaborative relationships with all stakeholders for a proactively planned, resourced and coordinated venue operation
Monitor and build an understanding of member needs and expectations
Champion WHS and Safety across the venue ensuring a safe environment for both staff and patrons

About you
We are looking for a natural leader who is self-motivated and passionate about providing exceptional customer service! Other great qualities and skills that you might possess include:
Previous hospitality management or relevant leadership experience
A willingness to continue to build long-term relationships with key stakeholders
Neat and tidy personal presentation
An ability to work both independently and as a part of a team
Flexibility to work a rotating roster
A current RSA and RCG
