Are you an experienced medical receptionist who takes pride in delivering excellent patient care and keeping a busy practice running smoothly? My FootDr Warragul is looking for a reliable and mature individual to join our friendly, professional team. Your strong organisational skills, confident communication, and welcoming manner will play a key role in supporting both patients and clinicians.

About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate and organised casual receptionist to join us for a 6-month leave cover. In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll be the friendly face that welcomes our patients, supports our clinicians, and keeps the clinic running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Greet patients with warmth and professionalism, both in-person and over the phone
Manage appointments, patient records, and general admin tasks with attention to detail
Assist with footwear fittings, helping patients find the right solution for their needs
Handle daily reception duties including payments (EFTPOS, POS, HICAPS)
Maintain a tidy and welcoming clinic environment, including retail displays
Open and close the clinic as required
Our Essentials - What We’re Looking For
Availability to work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (minimum 25 hours/week)
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in medical reception or a healthcare administration role
Flexibility to work weekends and during holiday periods as required, ensuring the clinic remains accessible to the community.
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Confidence in managing appointment scheduling, patient enquiries, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and medical practice software
A genuine passion for helping people and contributing to a positive, team-oriented workplace
A mature, dependable approach with the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism
