Brain Matters is a small but busy psychology clinic located in West Preston that is currently looking for an exceptional receptionist to join us in a part-time or casual capacity with reasonable flexibility and the possibility of increasing the hours. We are looking for someone who would be a perfect fit for our lovely clinic.

We have several clinicians who provide psychology assessments and treatments to children and adults. We love what we do. Our clinic is based in a hip niche of Preston West with a wonderful community, schools, cafes, post office and a little park nearby. We are located across the street from the last tram stop of Tram 11. Our team is small and awesome, and we are ready to welcome a new person to our Brain Matters family.

We are looking for a wonderful receptionist who enjoys a challenge and is able to prioritise and multitask. The successful candidate will be responsible for booking, registering and welcoming clients.

Our new excellent receptionist will be:

8. Quick and efficient to respond to phone calls and emails
9. Efficient and able to prioritise
10. Keep on top of tasks that need to be completed on a daily basis
11. Able to follow through with our processes and procedures
12. Able to make new processes and procedures when needed to ensure efficiency
13. Able to follow through with the tasks required to register clients
14. Responsible for billings, marking off remittances and liaison with various external agencies
15. Proud of our environment and ensure it is always kept fresh, neat and welcoming
16. Does not mind doing necessary tasks such as washing dishes and throwing out rubbish in an environmentally friendly way
17. Exceptional with computers and willing to learn new programs
18. Proficient with the use of the English language with excellent verbal and written communication

A more senior role and a progression to a Practice Manager will also be considered for the right candidate.

The successful applicant will need to have some flexibility for work from Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm and occasionally Saturday as well as having the flexibility to occasionally modify their schedule to fit the needs of the clinic.
