This role, located in Sydney, is a fabulous opportunity to join a small and dynamic team in a fast-paced environment which offers great job satisfaction. We are seeking an Independent Grocery Sales executive who is ambitious and motivated, with significant experience in either Independent Grocery, Sales or Merchandise Management (Buying).

The role

Your duties will include:

Managing current supplier relationships and building joint business plans.

Negotiate trading terms.

Pricing and promotional negotiations.

Onboarding of new suppliers.

New business.

Working with members and the members key account team to connect our suppliers with our members (close the sale).

Working with suppliers as distributors of brands and products.

Provide selling tools and resources to the members key account team to ensure distribution and execution of brands and products.

Administrative tasks as required.

To be considered for this role you will have:

Experience in the Independent grocery channel

A professional approach and positive attitude to your work

Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Ability to convey information to clients clearly and concisely

Strong attention to detail

Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in sales, merchandising, account management or buying.

Ability to work in isolation on administrative tasks.
