My client specialises in supplying Australias major retail channels with merchandise and entertainment products consisting of the largest pop culture licenses in the world. These licenses include major motion pictures and brands, leading music artist and major television series. Having the Australian rights to these licenses allows the company to design, develop and customised specialised merchandise and products that follow the industries current pop culture trends and role these out into store on a national level.
The company works closely with retail giants such as JBHIFI, Big W, Kmart, Coles, David Jones as well as boutique POP Culture stores to rollout seasonal products, retail specific customised products and products that follow releases of major movie and television releases. Their main goal is to develop the right product for their clients and deliver it to them at the right time.
The Role
The company is needing a dedicated and pasisonate Account Manager. This could be someone experienced or someone more junior. You will need to be comfortable using excel and dealing with major retail companies. This role will see you dealing directly with a number of major retail chains across a broad range of product categories. This role will see you liaising with head office of major retail chains to put together product strategies for upcoming releases and rollouts as well as identify future pop culture and market trends and find new clients to develop new business and relationships with. You will also work and liaise with the companies in house design team to put together specialised customed designed products that meet the clients requirements and put together presentations to promote upcoming releases and product timelines for clients.
This role will require someone with experience dealing with major retailers and buyers from either an Account Management or BDM point of view and someone who is comfortable presenting and engaging with clients across face to face meetings and video meetings. This will be a hybrid role consisting of 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH.
Requirements
Will look at either a junior person who has experience within Account Management and wanting to grow in the industry or an experienced Account Manager who has experience dealing with shipping and retail accounts.
Experience dealing with corporate and head office clients highly regarded
Genuine passion or understanding of current pop culture and industry trends
Ability work closely with multiple divisions of a business and put together short and long term strategies
Able to confidently put together presentations and present to clients
Great time management
On Offer
Base Salary $70k - $85k for a more junior person
Base Salary $95k - $120k for an experienced Account Manager
Super at 11.5%
