In this newly created role, the Packaging Technologist will lead packaging development and optimisation across Marketing, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing functions. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you’ll play a key role in lifting packaging efficiency while enhancing brand impact, supporting sustainability goals, and delivering cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead division-wide packaging initiatives, including new formats, equipment, and materials
• Develop and implement a packaging-led NPD process from concept through to commercialisation
• Influence cross-functional stakeholders to optimise packaging performance across the portfolio
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Design teams to deliver solutions aligned with brand and business objectives
• Manage packaging projects end-to-end, ensuring timelines, quality, and communication are on track
• Drive continuous innovation by staying ahead of trends and advancing sustainability and internal processes

About You:

• Proven experience in a Packaging Technologist role, ideally within FMCG and/or B2B sectors
• Experience in Own Label categories is highly regarded
• Strong track record of delivering packaging efficiencies and improvements
• Excellent collaboration and influencing skills, with a pragmatic and empathetic style
• Thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments and confident working with external partners
