What You’ll Be Doing

• Taking ownership – You don’t just complete tasks; you drive them from start to finish, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
• Client engagement – Working closely with business owners, breaking down financials, translating complexity into clarity, and building strong relationships.
• Technical tax and advisory work – Handling tax planning, compliance, and advisory for a mix of SMEs, including companies, trusts, and SMSFs.
• Managing projects seamlessly – Staying ahead of deadlines, using tools like Asana, and ensuring clients and internal teams are always one step ahead.
• Mentoring & team collaboration – Supporting junior accountants and helping lift the technical capability of the team.

What You Need to Apply

- 4-5+ years’ experience in an Australian public practice firm
- CA or CPA qualified (or near completion)
- Strong tax and business advisory skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Tech-savvy – Comfortable with cloud-based accounting and project management tools
