The Role - Maintenance Fitter - FMCG

The Rate - $120,000 + super ($133,800 total salary package)
The Hours - YOU GET 1 WEEK OFF PAID EVERY MONTH! This is the roster - Days and Nights 12 hour shifts starting from 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am
Week 1 - Night, Night, NighT, Night OFF OFF OFF
Week 2 - Day Day Day Off Night Night Night
Week 3 - Off Off Off Day Day Day Day
Week 4 - Off Off Off Off Off Off Off - a week paid off work!

FMCG experience or experience in a fast paced Manufactoring plant is mandatory for this role

We are looking for a Maintenance Fitter to join our extremely sufficient Maintenance team which is notoriously known for a leading culture within the FMCG industry, this is the business you will want to join and excel your career in you will be joining a powerhouse within the industry. The maintenance team do not leave the business, they have been there for 20+ years and there is no micro management.

About the role and what you will be responsible for:
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor - you will be responsible for:

Performing a range of mechanical repair and maintenance tasks on the machinery and equipment
- Attending breakdowns
- Perform maintenance checks
- Assemble, install, and repair the plants machinery and equipment
- Performing Preventative Maintenance

What you need to qualify for this role
- Australian Fitter Qualification or equivalent (Cert 3 in Engineering/Mechanical)
- Experience within an FMCG environment (or a very fast paced manufactoring plant)
- Minimum 3+ years experience as a Maintenance Fitter
- Breakdown and Preventative Maintenance experience
- You will need to be self motivated and able to work autonomously
