About the role

As a Bar Supervisor at Juni Melbourne', you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our bustling restaurant. In this casual position, you will be responsible for overseeing the bar team and contributing to the vibrant atmosphere that our customers have come to expect.

What you'll be doing

Supervising and leading the bar team, ensuring exceptional customer service and adherence to company policies and procedures

Overseeing inventory management, stock control and ordering processes to maintain well-stocked and organised bar operations

Assisting with the creation and implementation of staff schedules.

Monitoring staff performance and providing feedback and coaching to support their professional development

Liaising with the management team to identify opportunities for process improvements and workflow optimisation

Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and licensing regulations

Providing hands-on bartending support during busy periods as needed

What we're looking for

2+ years of experience behind the bar, supervisory experience beneficial but not necessary.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team

Excellent organisation and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail

Sound knowledge of bar operations, inventory management and liquor licensing requirements

Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions

A friendly, customer-focused attitude and a passion for providing exceptional service

What we offer

We are offering this position starting as casual 30+ hours, looking to move onto full time in the near future
