Fresh & Save Australia is a family owned & operated business.

Fresh & Save is a family-owned Supermarket business. We operate warehouse style supermarkets stocking a range of food and grocery items sufficient to satisfy most Australian household needs, all at the lowest possible price. Our stores are typically large with comprehensive fresh food departments, including onsite butchers in all stores and full production bakeries in selected locations.

Fresh & Save retails Australia’s favourite brands in a no-frills environment and aims to deliver significant savings on a full basket shop versus our competitors.

Fresh & Save intends to be the supermarket of choice and dominant retailer in our catchments.

Our Store Managers play an integral part in the success of their stores and the wider Fresh & Save business. As a result of our ongoing expansion, we currently have an opportunity within our growing business.

We are seeking passionate, enthusiastic, and experienced team members to contribute to our business’ success!

Full Time 38 Hours (Tues-Saturday) (will be some later finishes circa 6pm)

Experienced Produce 2IC (Level 3 GRIA)

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the below qualities.

· 2 Years of Produce Experience

· Extensive experience in Produce Handling, Merchandising & Display building.

· Keen eye for product quality.

· Understand principles of shrink minimisation.

· Understand financial reporting – budget vs. actual, gross profit performance, wage performance.

· Understands stocktaking process’.

· Experience in purchasing from multiple suppliers.

· Must be hands on.

· Computer Literate – POS Programs, Rostering Systems, Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel etc.)

· Must be Physically fit & enjoy physical work.

· Excellent planning skills.

· Excellent Communication skills with direct team & other members of the senior management team.

· Ability to manage a team – includes training, direction, & follow up.

· Adopts a “Service First” mentality.

· Employs a positive attitude towards all situations.

· Ability to recognise & resolve issues promptly.

· Extremely high attention to detail.

· Provide helpful and efficient customer service & model appropriate behaviour.

· Enjoys working as part of a team & leads by example.

· Ability to work autonomously as required.

· Understands the importance of following Food Safety & WHO&S programs.
