Job Title: Grocery Manager 2IC

Job Summary: As the Grocery Manager 2IC, you will assist the Grocery & Store Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the grocery and store. Your role is crucial in ensuring the store runs smoothly, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of inventory management and store presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in Store Operations: Support the Store Manager in managing all aspects of store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and ensuring compliance with store policies.

Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, order inventory, and manage deliveries to ensure shelves are well-stocked and products are fresh.

Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, address customer inquiries and complaints, and ensure a positive shopping experience.

Staff Supervision: Assist in training, supervising, and scheduling store staff. Motivate the team to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service.

Merchandising: Ensure products are displayed attractively and promotional materials are up-to-date. Implement store layout changes as needed.

Financial Management: Using our store's inventory system to update prices & add products

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a retail or grocery store management role.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Proficiency in inventory management and point-of-sale systems.

Working Conditions:

Full-time position with flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays.

Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, lifting heavy items, and performing manual tasks.
