The opportunity

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Fresh Produce Assistant to join our team at Good Things Grocer in Tarragindi on Brisbane's southside.

As a fulltime role, this position is perfect for someone who is passionate about providing excellent customer service and maintaining high-quality fresh produce.

Key responsibilities

Receiving, unpacking, and storing fresh produce deliveries in accordance with food safety standards

Restocking shelves and displays to ensure a well-organised and visually appealing produce section

Assisting customers with selecting and purchasing fresh fruits and vegetables

Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the produce department

Collaborating with the team to identify and implement ways to improve the customer experience

Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and compliance regulations

What we're looking for

Prior proven experience within the fresh produce industry

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently to ensure the produce department is well-stocked and presentable

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide outstanding customer service

A genuine interest in fresh produce and a commitment to food quality and safety

Shifts are Tuesday through to Saturday

A current forklift licence is highly adventageous, alternatively we will facilitate the course for you
