More Opportunities is seeking a Part time IT / Web developer Officer to join our office in Moonah, TAS.

Mon to Fri ( 20 to 25 hrs a week )

We are looking for a skilled Web Developer with WordPress Knowledge and IT Specialist who will be responsible for developing and designing websites as well as managing IT systems and providing support for our company. The ideal candidate should be proficient in various programming languages, applications, digital media, and tools to create and maintain content. Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure AD, CRM systems, WordPress and modern web and mobile app technologies is essential.

Key Responsibilities include:

Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.

Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and peripherals.

Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including network devices and security systems.

Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems promptly.

Coordinate with vendors for IT equipment procurement, repairs, and maintenance.

Assist with IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and implementations.

Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets.

Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures for security and compliance.

Conduct regular system backups and implement disaster recovery plans.

Train employees on IT tools, systems, and policies.

Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements.

Collaborate with departments to identify IT needs and provide technical guidance.

Manage user accounts and permissions on network systems.

Respond to IT helpdesk queries promptly, ensuring excellent customer service.

Monitor system and network performance.

Maintain and expand the company website, ensuring it meets industry standards.

Assist with office moves and IT setups for new staff.

Provide end-user support for office equipment, internet, and LAN connections.

Manage and store website files, ensuring proper code structure and quality.

Perform user administration duties and assist with desktop, laptop, and high-end computer setups.

Develop schedules for regular testing and maintenance of connected devices.

Develop and manage PHP web applications, WordPress Website.

Utilise Microsoft Flow and Power Automate to streamline processes, manage and create flows.

Implement and manage Unifi Networking products.

Develop, publish, and manage Progressive Web Apps (PWAs).

Manage app deployment on App Store and Google Play Store.

Preferred Skills / Experience:

Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP, WordPress, Elementor Plugin.

Experience with PHP web applications.

Proficiency in Webhosting, Microsoft Azure AD, Office 365 Admin.

Experience with SharePoint file and permission management.

Knowledge of Microsoft Flow and Power Automate.

Experience with Unifi Networking products.

Experience with Microsoft Power Automate applications.

Dedicated team player with the ability to solve complex problems.

Knowledge of programming applications.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to develop ideas and processes and clearly express them.

Innovative thinking to improve website and app performance.

Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise.

Knowledge of the NDIS and the community sector is highly regarded.

Ability to accomplish objectives effectively within given time frames and carry out administrative duties efficiently.

To be considered for the role you must have:

Having experience as an IT Officer / web developer role.

Technical knowledge and expertise

Great overall research and analytics skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
